Although all 3 of the main consoles can argue about who has the top spot and who has the biggest following there is no argument about which console has the most unique selling point. The Nintendo Wii Console outclasses both its main rivals the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in terms of uniqueness. The Wii Wireless controllers which fit into a whole host of other controllers make it the most interactive console available, playing tennis involves swinging the tennis racquet, play golf and you swing an actual golf club, play bowls, you swing your arm and the ball goes where you threw it even boxing involves you throwing hooks and jabs at your opponent. All the equipment like the steering wheel are available separately and very inexpensively, the sports equipment mentioned previously comes in a sports utility pack for the Wii. For this reason alone the Nintendo Wii console is the top video games system for families at Christmas because everyone can get involved easily.  Make no mistake however the Wii is a fully fledged games console and has a vast array of games available for it and can match the other consoles for game play and graphics with the more intense games as well as dishing out huge helpings of fun and laughter with games like Mario Kart,  A fantastic all round console the whole family can enjoy!

The Sony Playstation 3 console is known the world over and has sold millions of units all over the globe. Its combination of great graphics, familiar controllers and an amazing array of games make this video game system a consistent bestseller since its release. As DVD playback made the PlayStation 2 more than just a game machine, hefty multi-media features make the PlayStation 3 an even more versatile home entertainment machine. The Xbox 360 console is the direct competitor to the Playstation 3 with one major point in it's favour.
