My husband and I gave the gloves to six ladies and I purchased a pair for myself. All of the ladies were polite in their comments, but clearly they were as disappointed in the leather quality as we were. The leather was not of the quality we expected for “Italian leather” and thy are not fashioned for “dress.” However, the gloves are warm and comfortable to wear. The sizes were generous and appropriate, but I would reserve my recommendation to include the stipulation that one is looking for warmth, not quality.

These are very well priced gloves and the gauntlet style is great during rainy/cold weather, but the plastic clasp broke with hours of using these on a ride. If you need something quick and cheap, get these. If you can wait and want some thing that will last, please look elsewhere.

These are very warm gloves, so please don’t get them for summer riding.

These gloves are great. After a ride around town at about 50 degrees, my hands were the warmest part of my body! Thanks to the gauntlet design, you wont feel even a mild breeze at high speeds. The leather seems very durable. I gave it a 4 instead of 5 because I can feel a little bit of the stitching (on the inside of the glove) scratch against my hand at times. Completely worth the money. I would buy them again.

I bought these gloves for use with my outdoor barbecue. I cook with a wood fire, so temps can easily get over 600 degrees in the firebox. These leather gloves protect my hands very well in tending the fire [adding wood, stirring, poking, etc]. With these gloves I can easily reach into the firebox to reposition a piece of wood without any danger of burning my skin. They are also great for adjusting the draft vent on the side of the firebox. After having a similar pair [high profile name in barbecue] of these indefinitely backordered last summer [which I then canceled the order], these gloves are perfect for any backyard barbecue chef who is cooking with any type of slow cook oven or pit. I cook with a Char Griller Pro. These gloves are thick, lined, and up to the task of slow cook, hours long fires in the barbecue of ribs, chicken, brisket etc. I highly recommend them! I have another pair which I use for my home fireplace in the winter. This is a quality product for a great price! I have never had a blistered finger or singed hair with these.

I was looking for a pair of gloves to use in warm weather, and these are good for that since the mesh allows lots of air through to keep the hands cooler. However, for motorcycle gloves, they’re poorly designed – the leather on the fingers is cut opposite of where it should be, leaving the knuckles covered only by the mesh fabric, rather than protected by the leather. The grip side was more slippery than any other gloves I’ve used, and didn’t feel secure on the grips. Also, after an hour of riding, some of the black dye transferred to my hands.

I was looking for budget motorcycle gloves, and these were exactly what I was looking for.

For the price, they seem capable of doing the job: light duty use in cooler weather. They look great coming out of the bag. Construction is adequate, but time will tell.

For frequent use in cold weather these gloves aren’t adequate, but for light duty/cool weather, the price can’t be beat.
